Macbook Air M4 gives a premium feel and is completely made of metal. There is no top lid flex, no keyboard flex, weight distribution is also good and maximum lid goes upto 120-130 degree. Its weight is around 1.3kg and its thickness is 11.3MM. It is a very thin MacBook. If someone does not want to buy a Windows laptop then Macbook Air series is a good option. It has two variants in size 13″ inch and 15″ inch. It does not have active thermal system, it has passive cooling i.e. there is no fan inside it. There are thermal pads fitted inside which maintain its cooling.

It has three variants of Apple silicon M4 chip ( 10 core CPU, 8 core GPU 16GB unifed memory / 256GB SSD storage), (10 core CPU, 10 core GPU 16GB unified memory / 512GB SSD storage), (10 core CPU, 10 core GPU 24GB unified memory / 512 SSD storage). It has a 16 core Neural engine which is used to perform Ai tasks. Connectivity includes Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 version. It has a 53.8Wh battery. With daily tasks, MacBook gives up to 12-13 hours of battery backup.
It comes with a 70W charger which gets fully charged in 1 hour 20 minutes and with a 35W charge, MacBook gets fully charged in 2 hours+. It has 2 thunderbolts port on the left side for charging and fast data transfer, headphone jack is available on the right side. Its keyboard is good, it is a single color backlit keyboard, white color light is seen in the keys. Its power button has fingerprint lock.

It has New MacOs sequoia in which you can do iPhone mirroring i.e. you can run the entire phone on MacBook. Apple intelligence features like tone change in writing tool, proof reading, summarizing etc., image playground to generate image, siri with chatgpt and many other features are seen.
Killer display of MacBook Air M4
The 13 inch variant has a 13.6 inch IPS QHD+ display, whose resolution is 2560*1664, refresh rate is 60Hz. Display is a fingerprint magnet, if fingerprints are put then they start appearing on the display. Its brightness is up to 520 nits. The display colour is accurate, any kind of content looks great when viewed. If you have to do colour grading in photo and video editing, the display gives great performance. Along with this, HDR 10, dolby vision and HDR 10+ are also supported. If you watch HDR content or dolby vision supported content, then the display performance will look great. The speaker quality is also good, it also supports dolby atmos, if you attach dolby atmos supported speakers with it, then you will get very good audio quality.
Basically, Macbook Air targets those people who travel a lot because it is thin and light in size. You can easily perform high performance tasks like coding, music production, photo editing, video editing etc. in it, but it is not made for gaming. Macbook’s own games run well in it, but cross platform games are not supported in it. Macbook Air is good in terms of productivity.
