Moto’s G series is the highest selling and rated series. Moto has upgraded many things in this phone like refresh rate, a new Sony sensor in the camera, a new chipset for performance and a bigger battery. The phone comes with a Type A to C cable, a 33W charger and a SIM ejector. The back of the phone is made of vegan leather, its frame is made of polycarbonate, the thickness of the phone is 7.93 mm and it weighs around 174 grams. Talking about color variants, this series has a total of four colors: Pantone Dresden Blue, Pantone Ashleigh Blue, Pantone Cattleya Orchid and Greener Pasture, and this phone is also IP 68 certified. Its right side has the volume button, power on/off button, air vent, noise cancellation on the top side, speaker, Type-C port, microphone and SIM card tray which supports dual nano SIM. It has stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.
Specification
It has a Snapdragon 7s gen 2 (4nm) processor, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone is available in two variants: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. It has a 5500mAh battery. It runs on Moto’s Hello UI, based on Android 15. It comes with one year of major updates and three years of security updates. It includes Moto features like Smart Connect 2.0 Family Space and Moto Secure, along with AI features like AI Photo Enhancer, AI Super Zoom, AI Magic Eraser, and AI Magic Editor. Connectivity includes dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth version 5.2.
Display
Its display is a curved display, a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED 3D curved display. Its peak brightness is up to 1200 nits and peak brightness goes up to 1600 nits. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and is protected by Corning Glass 5. The screen-to-body ratio is 92.77%. The phone has a 10-bit display and Motorola has used a display color booster, which makes colors appear significantly boosted when viewing content. Its display is SGS eye protection and flicker-free certified, which reduces eye strain if you watch movies in the dark.
Camera
The rear side has a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C (OIS) primary camera, an 8MP Ultra + Macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K 30FPS video recording. Many features are available in Camera UI like slow motion, scan, panorama night vision, dual video in pro, photo, video, portrait and more. There are three modes in Portrait 24mm, 35mm and 50mm. In Portrait photo quality, it softens the details of the photo a little and makes the skin tone slightly warm. Edge detection is also good. In Normal mode, the color shifts a little from portrait mode. Overall the phone is good for taking normal photos.
If seen, Motorola has updated this mobile to a great extent from the previous one like it is IP68 certified, battery performance has been increased, camera quality has been enhanced. Overall moto user can buy a good phone under ₹20,000/.
Nothing Phone 3
Intro
A transparent TPU case, type C to C cable and SIM ejector pin are provided with the Nothing phone. Since the Nothing Phone 3 is a flagship phone, a charger is not provided with any flagship phone, be it an iPhone or any other brand phone. The charger has to be bought separately. There will be two variants of this phone: one with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage and the other with 16GB RAM / 512GB storage. There are two color variants in it, white and black. Its frame is made of metal. It has a power button and an essential key on the right side, volume button on the left, noise cancellation microphone and speaker on the top, SIM tray on the bottom in which you can insert two nano SIMs, a microphone, type-C 2.0 charging port and a speaker. This phone is IP 68 rated.
GLYPH Matrix Display
You can view small games on the Glyph display on the back. You can customize the screen by going into the Glyph interface. You can customize the Glyph toys, which include different types of toys.
You can set ringtones, etc., where different designs are displayed behind the ring.
Display
It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ flat display, a 120Hz LTPS panel, meaning the display will shift between 120Hz and 60Hz. The phone’s all-time brightness is around 750. The brand claims its peak brightness reaches 4500 nits. The front screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 7i and the back is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus. Multimedia support is supported by Widevine L1. There is 1080P content on OTT platforms and HDR+ support on Netflix.

Gaming performance
In BGMI, Ultra extreme 120-140FPS is supported on low, in COD Mobile Battle Royale 90FPS on low ultra, Genshing Impact 60FPS on high. The phone gets heated up after prolonged gaming.
Camera
All the rear cameras are 50MP. 50MP primary, telescope sensor JN5 whose size is 1/2.75 inches, ultrawide sensor JN1 and a 50MP camera is available on the front. Both the front and back cameras can record at 4k 60FPS. Portrait of the back camera is good, the photos in 3x portrait are very good, the edge detection also does a great job. Camera performance is okay, sometimes it takes very good photos, sometimes it takes average photos.
Overall phone performance is okay, it is good in gaming, there is support for HDR10+ in multimedia etc. If you’re a beginner, you can go for this. The 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant costs around ₹80,000, and the 16GB RAM/512GB storage variant costs around ₹90,000.
